Reigate and Banstead Police Safer Neighbourhood Team
Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for the last week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries, catalytic converter and vehicle thefts reported between the 9th April 2026 to 16th April 2026. The report also includes information on arrests in the Borough.
Car Crime This week there have been 0 reports of theft from cars and 0 reports of attempts to gain access to vehicles. Arrests. There were 52 arrests in the period April 9th 2026 to April 15th 2026: Domestic Incident/Violent Domestic Abuse 8, Rape/Sexual Offence 2, Drugs 5, Prescribed Limit 3, Drunk/Drug Charge 2, Violent Crime in a Public Place 5, Violent Crime Other 2, Crime Public Order 1, Offensive Weapon 1, Harassment/Stalking 1, Hate/Diversity 1, Master Occurrence 5*, Robbery 2, Theft 7, Criminal Damage 3, Custody Issue 1, Prisoner recall 1, None of these 2. *A Master Occurrence is used when recording an arrest where a number of offences are recorded for one incident.
Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. Records show that there has been One report of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the last week. The report was a suspect paying for an item with a bank card that doesn’t belong to them.
Burglaries North 14/04/2026 18:22. Morston Close, Tadworth. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through a rear window to the property. Stolen: Not confirmed at this time. (PR 45260043100) Between 14/04/2026 11:30 to 16/04/2026 02:53. Courtlands Crescent, Banstead. Residential Garage Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the garage door. Stolen: Motorbike. Central 11/04/2026 Between 17:30 to 17:32. Woodhatch Road, Reigate. Attempted Residential Outbuilding Burglary. Method of Entry – Suspect(s) have attempted to gain access to an allotment shed. Stolen: Nothing Taken. (PR 45260042071)
